ABOUT THE BAND

Cameron Cap Badge, and Cameron of Erracht tartan

Cameron of Erracht

A blend of the MacDonald and Cameron tartans devised by Marsali MacLean, Sir Allan Cameron of Erracht's mother.

In 1793, he raised the 79th Highlanders, which became the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.

For more information on the history of the band, the Kimberley Pipe Band History Book is now on sale.

They can be purchased for $30 at the Kimberley Centex, or Edward Jones in Cranbrook.
